Homemade Nachos

This is another quick easy meal to create which I am sure will be a hit at your next Super Bowl party. It's simple to make and the perfect snack to munch on during the game. Serve with wings and you have a real party favourite.


1 lb lean ground beef

1 bag Tortilla chips

1/2 cup black olives

1/2 cup Jalapeno peppers

1 cup salsa sauce

3 cloves garlic

1 cup chopped onion

1 pk of double blend shredded cheese

In a skillet cook ground beef until brown. Add garlic, salt and chopped onion and cook for additional 3 minutes. Begin layering one half of your cooked ground beef and Tortilla chips on a baking sheet. Spread salsa sauce, black olives & Jalapeno peppers on top. Next, spread one half of the blended cheese, garlic and onion on top. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Next place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until cheese is melted.

Total prep+cook time: Approx. 25 minutes
