Classic Beef Lasagna

The perfect hearty meal for your hungry family or a big social gathering especially during this cold holiday season. It's cheesy, meaty and is sure to have everyone's mouth watering!


1 pkg lasagna noodles

1 tub Ricotta cheese

2 369 mL cans of tomato paste

1 pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup water

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

1/2 cup of onions (chopped)

1 cup tomatoes (chopped)

1/2 cup cilantro

3 cloves of garlic (chopped)

1/2 tsp all purpose seasoning

2 eggs

1/2 tsp pepper

Preheat oven to 350°. Cook your lasagna noodle according to your package. In a skillet, cook ground beef until brown. Then add the seasoning, pepper, onions, garlic, tomatoes, and tomato paste. Let simmer and stir occasionally. In a bowl, whisk eggs then mix in the cilantro, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese.

When the noodles are cooked, lay one layer in your baking sheet then layer the meat sauce on top of the noodles and sprinkle some your cheese on top of the meat. Continue this process until you've used up all of your noodles finishing the dish with your cheese on top. Cover with tin foil and bake for about 30-40 minutes. Then remove tin foil and continue to bake for another 5 minutes.
